Well here’s a pretty straight forward piece: a blank fuel tank hat, CNC machined from a hefty block of billet aircraft grade 6061-T6 lightweight alloy, finished in our signature Sun Silver. With 3mm thick walls you have endless options in terms of fittings, lines, and wiring. You can install one fuel pump… or five!? The trickiest part of engineering and manufacturing is getting the tapered lip right – it’s hard to see, but it’s definitely angled. This way it’ll seal well, and when you go to install it, it won’t catch on the fuel tank/gasket – savings lots of headaches and swearing. This is what it looks like installed in various Nissan’s:
